It’s said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. In July of 2010, Jeromy Price took that first step. Having built an award-winning career spanning 10 years in Graphic Design, he felt it was time to pursue his own vision. Thus was born Jeromy Price Design Co., a solo endeavor into the wilderness of design and marketing.
Jeromy was never one to rest on his laurels. He knew his industry was not only highly
competitive, but it was also continuously evolving. Soon after starting his own business, he began to expand his toolbox with skills in website design and development, as well as photography and video production. This thirst for growth and knowledge served him well as his business evolved. Throughout the years, he has built a reputation for quality and professionalism. He has provided services for clients all across the U.S., as well as the UK, Dubai, Korea, and Japan.
Having now been in business for 15 years, he decided it was time for a change. His business was growing, and his children were developing creative skills of their own. He wanted to build a legacy he could pass down, and he wanted a brand that reflected his values and vision. So he rebranded to Hawk & Bear Co.
The name Hawk & Bear is based on an old Cherokee proverb. The lesson it teaches is about (hawk) having a bird’s eye view of your goals — where you are and where you want to go; and (bear) doing the work to get there, putting in real effort, and never giving up. His exposure to this proverb came from his love of history, culture, and the outdoors. It was the perfect metaphor for his vision.
Jeromy is a family man who shares our love for the outdoors. In January of this year, shortly after rebranding, he serendipitously came across a post by Arkansas Outdoor Expo. A connection was made, and a new partnership was formed. Hawk & Bear Co. became an official sponsor and collaborator in our efforts to revive this event by providing a new brand identity and website, and he is excited to be a part of this extraordinary journey.
