To our outdoor community,
In early December 2025, we made the decision to postpone the 2026 Arkansas Outdoor Expo.
This was not an easy call. It hurt.
Over the past several months, we worked hard to build momentum for the event. However, we encountered a significant issue with our marketing strategy that impacted our inability to reach the right audience and attract the right exhibitors. By the time we identified and corrected the problem, we simply didn’t have enough time to ensure the kind of event our community deserves, and one that met our expectations.
That responsibility is mine.
As the organizer, it’s my job to make sure our content, and reach finds the people we need to not only establish this event, but to ensure it’s success. When our marketing missed the mark, it affected everything downstream.
Rather than push forward with something that didn’t meet our standards, we chose to pause and reset.
This Is Not the End
The Arkansas Outdoor Expo is now officially rescheduled for:
January 15–16, 2027
Fort Smith Convention Center – Fort Smith, Arkansas
We are already rebuilding the strategy from the ground up, refining our marketing approach, reconnecting with core vendors, sponsors and partners ensuring we speak directly to the true outdoor community that believes in our vision.
2027 will not be a rushed recovery. It will be a properly built return.
How You Can Help
If you do one thing, this is it:
Follow and engage with our social media content daily. (please?)
Every like, share, and comment helps us reach the right people, the ones who live for opening day, early mornings on the water, campfires with family, and time spent outdoors. Organic engagement ensures we build this the right way and stay connected to the community we purposely serve.
We’re committed to getting this right.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and your belief in what this event can become.
